Welcome to the July edition of The AI Visibility Brief from Frontier15!

Last month we talked about GEO becoming a de facto part of enterprise marketing . This month, the picture is becoming even more interesting.

The AI search market is no longer being shaped by one dominant platform. It’s fragmenting.

ChatGPT is still the biggest name, but Claude’s audience is growing rapidly, Google continues to push more searches into AI-powered experiences, and the major platforms are beginning to reward genuinely useful content over mass-produced AI copy.

The challenge for brands is becoming more complex. You can’t just ask whether you’re visible in AI search. You need to ask “which AI search?”

To succeed it’s not just about creating a whole load of content and dumping it on your site. It’s about being clever, and becoming the most trusted source of all the answers.

Read on for the three developments we believe every digital leader should have on their radar this month:

  1. Claude is no longer just an alternative to ChatGPT
  2. AI search is rewriting the way we use the internet
  3. Great content is becoming a competitive advantage again

1: Claude is no longer just an alternative to ChatGPT

Adobe has made GEO feel very real

Claude’s audience has grown by around 180% in six months. Unlike ChatGPT, Claude increasingly attracts professionals, researchers and business users working through complex problems. It is influencing buying decisions earlier in the customer journey while remaining much harder to measure because so much activity happens inside long-form conversations and enterprise workflows.

2: AI search is rewriting the way we use the internet

AI is changing how digital discovery happens. Longer, conversational searches and AI experiences across Google, Microsoft, Meta and Amazon mean brands need to be discoverable across an ecosystem rather than optimise for a single platform.

3: Great content is becoming a competitive advantage again

AI increasingly rewards authoritative, evidence-backed content. Rather than publishing more pages, brands should focus on creating clearer, more useful resources that AI systems can confidently understand and recommend.

Thanks for reading. As always, we’d love to hear what you’re seeing in the world of AI search.

We’ll be back next month with more insights, more data and more practical advice to help your brand stay visible in the age of AI.

More soon.
